In New York City, there is always one color that will never go out of style: black. You’ve probably heard New Yorkers say it, and you can even see it for yourself that black outfits are a New York “thing”. So this past weekend, I took on the streets of SoHo with my friends @justindavidss and @tanamontana100 and hit up the restaurants and cafes in the surrounding areas of the LES (Lower East Side) and NoLita (Northern Little Italy) in my cozy warm outfit to counter the dropping temperatures and snowfall.
The Hat: This Burberry beanie matched perfectly with the colors of my outfit. It wouldn’t be nearly as stylish if it wasn’t for the rabbit fur pom pom on top which became a nice addition to detail.
The Backpack: My Herschel Little America gray backpack is my go-to backpack when walking around NYC and to work because it matches practically all my outfit selections and can carry everything I could need due to its deep pouch.
The Jacket, Pants, And Shoes: I wanted black to be the main color of focus in my outfit, but I didn’t want to over do it with all black pieces so I chose to go with the black coat from Michael Kors, a pair of black jeans from Guess, matched with a pair of black boots from Steve Madden.
The Shirt: To add a little “color” and life to my outfit, the best thing to do was to match my other pieces with a neutral color like this gray turtleneck that I got from H&M. The turtleneck was the perfect choice to add some effortless style to an otherwise normal outfit PLUS it was really warm on this cold day.
