Commuting from New Jersey into New York City for work can be a BIG pain. As a full time worker AND a graduate student getting my MBA, my backpack that I carried looked like it was on the brink of exploding. Between my notepads, books, laptop, camera and more, the backpack just didn’t cut it for my daily commute into the city anymore.
So I parted ways with the commuter backpack and updated an item in my closet that I was using from the’80s. The item was my father’s carry-on duffel bag that he took ON HIS HONEYMOON. Crazy, I know. But it still did the job, somewhat.
Since I decided that it was finally time to upgrade my duffel, I turned to Korchmar. Korchmar was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1917 and is a family-owned manufacturer of quality leather briefcases, travel bags and accessories for business professionals.
My pick was the Korchmar Lux Twain 22″ Weekender Duffel because it fit all the characteristics I was looking for in a business professional duffel bag to accompany me on my daily New York City commute.
